Kept Marines for many years, this is my first Koi pond. Wife wouldnt allow it to be too big so its 10,000 litres (2200 Gallons), Linered, pump fed. Filtration is home made
50 Litres fluid K1, 200 micron Sieve, 48 W UV, Vortex. Also a fishmate 15000 canister filter as a backup, Febi skimmer. Turnover is twice an hour
Currently Home to 5 Goldfish 2x3",6",7" and 8" and some Koi
Ta, I like one of each of the varieties. Unfortunately looks like a Heron got my little Shiro Utsuri and a goldfish this morning (I am ready for his next visit!!!!)
As for K1, go to Ebay and search for Pond Supplies, best price around, good filter material but just remember its an escape aritist, you will find it every where
