the head should be clear as should the fins,the patternation on the main scales should be even and there are gaps.

Hi mate are you talking bou my sick sanke? I have no clue what it is. To me it looks like the scale has been damaged and is going green and flufy. I have been told to take the scale of and clean.

Hiya,
(secondary hi) is the marking on the tail lube/section, this is a demerit to the koi....but although the koi doesn't belong to me it is a male with a fantastic body shape.

How long have you had it?Is it on its own inthe tank?was it quarantined before you got it,where did it come from?what temperature is it at?

BE VERY WATCHFUL OF THIS FISH,COULD BE THE START OF A BACTERIAL INFECTION.AT THE FIRST SIGN OF A SCALE RAISING,TAKE ACTION.what temperature are they at?

gills look a good colour but appear to have had leading edge lamellae damage in the past.Looks very popeyed have you been using a medication?
