Thankyou for the comments and ratings on my koi. It is real interesting that you have commented on both of my koi that maybe up for sale later in 2008 depending on what koi i buy this year.

Sanke is a very aquired taste and with the two types one with less sumi and the other with much heavier it is not easy to choose which you prefer. I to prefer the type with less sumi.

Thankyou - the skin on the koi is superb with really good Beni (red). There is a whole thread on the koi that tracks it's development in the Richdon koi forum.

Maybe just maybe up for sale later in the year.

hi, looks very nice,i am a showa fan myself but i have just started to take more intrest in sanke's,i have been told by a sanke fan to look for the ones not carrying to much sumi.

Thanks - i am a relativly new koi keeper. Think it is important to find a good dealer and stick with them. I am really pleased with this Koi and have big hopes for it over the next year or two.
This may well end up being my first show Koi when it's ready.

If you mean the wooden shelf over the Bio Chamber in the pump house it was already there from when this was just a storage space for the junk. I just made use of it for my stuff.
Not noticed any noise form the Bottom drain yet but not up and running fully yet. All is turned off for the night now until full test tomorrow.
