You say youve checked for fish lice but have you checked by microscope for other parasites. Nearly all parasites can only be viewed this way at 100x minimum. The veins arent too much to worry about and probably stress, if I had to guess by the behaviour your fish are displaying I would say you have a parasitic problem.

Shows lots of potential, looking forward to seeing it twelve months on.

Whenever Daz probably better when weather warms up to eighteen degrees plus faster healing time. will leave a minor scar but this should dissapear after a month or two. Sometimes they can come back but removed one off my biggest Kohaku 2 yrs ago and that has never returned.
