Hi,it is 11'1" x 6'7" x 4'9"deep, the water depth will be 4'6".I kept the base flat as most people agree that with an aerated bottom drain you do not need to bench the bottom.
carp20 @ 6:43 am said to dave.c
hi, what size is your pond?, did you keep the base level when you concreted it?

hi dean,
what size and type of glass are you using?, ive had a quote for a piece of toughened glass 19mm 3ft x 2ft and that was £195.

Not sure which side people have facing out, as i didn't use it myself. Have a scout through a few recent builds, I am sure i have seen some that have used it. Failing that put a post on the YKS forum, I would hate to advise you incorrectly.

Hi, I got the foam through Matt Williams , GRP Fibreglass, although nowadays most people seem to use kingspan which is just as good and available from most diy merchants.
carp20 @ 5:06 pm said to deggsymann
hi, where did you get the foam from ?

deggsymann @ 3:53 pm said to carp20
Hi, the floor is level and is covered with the same 1" foam the walls were. There is no problem whatsoever with waste on the floor not getting to the aerated bottom drain. It is spotless.
carp20 @ 2:23 pm said to deggsymann
hi, my new pond build is going to be the same size as yours, now can i ask a question, did you keep the floor level, or did you slope it towards the bottom drain?
