Sieve + bead is what many people do and works a treat. Nexus is the other way - most new ponds are one or t'other. nexus/cetus is a new invention but should work v well also.

Thanks Tony.I am currently thinking of changing current filtration( vortex with brushes/prefilter cannister/pressure bead and swimmingpool pump)-too much elec to run.Was hoping to put sieve in front of vortex,use vortex for something else add some chambers for bio all run off low wattage pumps but have been told can onlt run sieve in front of bead filter.Any ideas?

hi Richard - nexus/cetus combo is 2 pumps, I am told. An yes, gravity fed.

New to this forum.Looking at cetus pics is this the dual gravity setup and does it work with two pumps?
