Into my second year, keeping fish, started with orf and shebunkins and then discovered Koi. My collection: 3 sanke, 2 kohaku, 1 yamabuki ogon, 1 hariwaki ogon, 1 chagoi, 1 saragoi in pond. 1 showa and 1 kohaku at dealers until pond sorted.
I have 6500l pond filtered by an easypod, 55w kockney koi UV, and use filter wool to catch fines before water returns to pond. Got all the Koi I want for time being, now need to concentrate on keeping the water right and enjoying them.

he's gained another gin rin scale next to the one you can see there, yes I likes the very defined reticulation, I guess if there wasn't the blob and the tail I wouldn't have been able to afford him as I guess he would have stayed with the breeder (oofuchi) a while longer.

Brek ..the ochiba looks fab .. the reticulation is very good ... i like him ..lose the blob on the tail and he could be a tancho ochiba LOL
