For all the novices (which I am one myself!), my original pond was 500 gallons and I embarked on this project with apprehension, so much to think about and so much to go wrong, and also the cost! My advice is to talk to as many people as you can as I did. Many thanks to Harvey at Evolution Aqua and special thanks to Gary at KPA (Koi Pond and Accessories) to whom I bombarded with questions after questions never failed to give professional and unbiased advice.
Many thanks again
Eren
