been to the historic matlock bath today and took my camera this time.

around the parks and meuseums there are ponds full of koi, goldfish and orfe.

matlock is on the site of a thermal spring, the ponds are crystal clear and free running.



there is also an aquarium sited inside an 1883 victorian bath and is full of koi.

these koi enjoy 20 degreeC temps all year round in fresh un-filtered, un-pumped thermal spring water.
