Pics are of my pod being cleaned.... the 1st three pics are using a 50ltr/min pump and as you can see, the water is not bubbling a great deal, despite the fact it is 10ltr/min over the recommended EA rating...

The 2nd three pics are of the same, but with a £20 pump inflator from Argos on and you can see the difference.... even the water is a different colour due to all the crud it is dislodging....

I had been regularily cleaning my pod once or twice weekly, but with this new pump on, I had to flush it 5 times before the crud stopped flushing out and I had a clean vortex...



lesson learnt there me thinks....
